Habitat
Mountains, openings and edges of coniferous and mixed woods, in winter fields, parks, suburban gardens

Deep nest of roots, bark, twigs, moss lined with grasses and hair

Eggs
3 - blueish greenish eggs, incubation 11 - 13 days, fledge 9 - 12 days

Food
Insects, seeds berries and small fruits

Voice
A musical metalic trill
