Nest
Cavity nest lined with mud, grass, feathers, other plant material, and debris. Sometimes in a hole in a tree or in a compartmentalized "Martin House"

4 - 6 white eggs, incubation 15 - 18 days, fledge 26 - 31 days

Flying insects

Voice
A liquid gurgling warble, musical chirps, rasping twitters and a penetrating "tee-tee-tee"
